Happy Children's Day!

“An Epic Childhood to Remember.”

This Children’s Day, in conjunction with Josiah’s 20^th Anniversary in the Early Childhood industry, we gave out special commemorative t-shirts and rompers (for infants) designed by one of our alumni, Ms Sarah Choy, from the Class of 2003 (she turns 20 this year!), to all our precious children.

Our pride is to give your little ones the confidence to celebrate every single day. Hence, on this very special day, let’s immerse ourselves in nostalgia and reminisce the good old days as we join our children on this journey to celebrate Children’s Day.

First Stop: CHANGI

Did I hear you say carnival? That’s right! Here at Josiah Changi, we had a carnival full of life and colours! Apart from amazing carnival games such as Toss the Ball and Fishing, we had face painting and hand painting! Our children had their faces and hands painted with colourful and lively pictures such as butterflies, rainbows and cupcakes!

Our children had lots of fun doing art and crafts and bonding with their friends over lunch, where they had an array of food items to choose from! After which, the children went for a Disney movie screening, where they enjoyed watching a movie with their friends over cup corn.

How can we have a carnival without a photo booth? Our children had lots of fun posing at the very colourful photo booth with their very colourful props – rainbow wigs, magician hats, oversized spectacles, tiaras and many more!

Our infants too, had an amazing & colourful time with their friends with lots of food and games such as mini bowling, mini ball toss, and many other amazing mini carnival games! They even had sculpted balloons to play with and they absolutely loved the balloons!

Second Stop: APERIA

Our precious little ones at Josiah Aperia also had a carnival – a mini carnival this time! The babies went on a major #throwback journey, where they were taken back to the good old days! The children had a great time at the mini carnival where their 5 senses were stimulated by the myriad of colours and activities.

With a wide variety of food to choose from, our precious little ones had a great time eating and bonding with their friends. We also played various games such as mini Ball Pit, mini Ring Toss, mini Flying Fish, mini Knock Out, mini Shoot the Ball, and many more other mini games! We even had a mini bouncy castle – the children were elated! Does any game sound familiar to you?

Third Stop: TAMPINES MART

Seems like we can’t get enough of carnivals! At Josiah Tampines Mart, our children spent a wonderful day at our very own ‘home-grown’ carnival with lots of games, food, fun and friends!

Some games we played would definitely rekindle fond memories within you. We played Ring Toss, Hit the Cups, Tic-Tac-Toe, Mini Golf and many more carnival games! We made our very own props & logistics for the various carnival booths with recycled materials – 100% homemade; where you cannot find or buy them elsewhere! There was even a ticket system where the children could collect tickets as they win the games, to exchange for exciting gifts at our very own redemption booth!

Last Stop: SUNTEC

It was Mini Kidzania time at Josiah Suntec! Our children had lots of fun doing grocery shopping, visiting the salon, doing science experiments, watching their teachers perform, dance & sing their favourite songs from their MAP class, and having loads of fun with their friends!

Our precious little ones visited our ‘home-grown’ supermarket, J Mart, to do some grocery shopping with their best friends. They wheeled trolleys around J Mart and picked items off the shelves before heading to the checkout station, where they were greeted by our very own mini cashiers!

After a time of grocery shopping, our children visited the salon where they were greeted by our friendly and loving teachers, who helped them style their hair before they went for their high tea! At high tea, the children were introduced to a myriad of food options in a buffet style, where they were free to pick and choose the food they wanted – from hotdog buns to cupcakes, to ice-cream and biscuits! (all with permission from mommies and daddies of course!)

We then proceeded onto ‘The Lab’, where we had a total of 7 hands-on chemistry experiments with the top 2 favourites being ‘Cool Umbrella’ and ‘Colour Wheel’! Our children had lots of fun with the science and wonders around them.

Our precious babies also spent an amazing time ‘under the sea’, accompanied by not just their friends, but also cute sea creatures, lots of bubbles and lots of food too! What a delightful time – our precious infants absolutely enjoyed their time ‘under the sea’!
